Introduction
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between you (the “User”) and the provider of Couple-list (“we” or “us”). Please read this Agreement carefully before using the app. By downloading, installing, or using any part of Couple-list, you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions herein. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Age Requirement: You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are below the required age, you may only use the app with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.User Rights and Obligations
License to Use: We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Couple-list for non-commercial purposes. Service Description: Couple-list provides a shared digital space for two users to synchronize To-Do lists, complete tasks, and manage anniversary reminders via a unique pairing code. Accuracy of Information: You agree that any information you provide (e.g., anniversary dates, task descriptions) is accurate. You are responsible for the devices and internet connectivity (e.g., via Firebase) required to sync data.Shared Data & Pairing Security
Pairing Mechanism: To use the core features, you must link with another user via an 8-digit code. You are solely responsible for keeping this code secure. Anyone with this code can access your shared lists. Shared Responsibility: By pairing, you acknowledge that all content (To-Dos and Anniversaries) will be visible and editable by the linked user. We are not liable for disputes between paired users regarding deleted or modified data.Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in the following:- Illegal Content: Using the app to store or transmit illegal, harmful, violent, or infringing content, including using the camera feature for unlawful purposes.
- Malicious Interference: Introducing viruses or malware that disrupts the synchronization service or attempting unauthorized access to our cloud databases.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to derive the source code of Couple-list or using the app for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Service Content and Changes
- Modifications: We may update or remove features to improve the user experience or comply with legal requirements.
- Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend services (e.g., for maintenance or breach of terms). You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app and unlinking your account.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantees: Couple-list is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we strive for 100% sync reliability, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Use at Your Own Risk: We are not responsible for missed deadlines or forgotten anniversaries due to technical failures, notification delays, or data loss.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use or inability to use the app. If we are found liable, our total aggregate liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months prior to the event (or zero if the app is free), unless required otherwise by law.
- Consumer Rights: These limitations do not affect any non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in the developer’s location.Contact Us
